Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment Announces New President for EMEA

Waterloo, Belgium. Martin Knoetgen, Vice President of EMEA Operations, has been appointed by Tony Helsham, CEO of Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment, as President of EMEA. Knoetgen will assume his new role effective June 1, 2012. He will replace Scott Nelson, who has been President of EMEA since June 2010.

Bobcat Mourns Passing of Skid-Steer Inventor

Bobcat Company has paid tribute to Louis Keller, the co-inventor of the first skid-steer loader, as the company mourns his passing on 11 July at the age of 87. Together with his brother Cyril, Louis invented the first skid-steer loader, which was based around a three-wheeled loader they developed in 1957 for a turkey farmer near Rothsay in Minnesota.
