The 321 is a mini excavator in the 1-2 T class segment.
Developed as a light weight machine that can be easily transported on a trailer towed by a small truck, van or even a passenger car, the 321 offers high performance in rental, landscaping, municipalities and utilities.
The optional retractable undercarriage provides easy access to confined spaces.
The 321 features the “cylinder over boom design”. The canopy version offers access from both sides of the vehicle for operator comfort.
The cab is easy to access with all controls in a convenient position. In the cab version, the noise level has been reduced, providing a comfortable working environment.
All service points are easily accessible thanks to a large tailgate to enhance daily maintenance and reduce downtime.
The Kubota engine offers excellent power and cost effective fuel consumption.
The 6 mm tailgate is designed to provide a high degree of rigidity.
This model is equipped with auxiliary hydraulics providing a 30 l/min flow with 2-way control to get the best out of our attachments.

Trailer transport
The 321 is specially designed for trailer transport, enhancing flexibility when moving the machine from one jobsite to another.
Expandable undercarriage
When the undercarriage is retracted, the 321 is only 980 mm wide, ideal to travel through narrow spaces.
Once on the jobsite, the undercarriage can be hydraulically expanded to 1363 mm for maximum stability when working.
Spacious Cab
As on all Bobcat mini excavators, the cab is very spacious, with all controls in a convenient position. This makes the machines very comfortable to operate.
In the cab version, the noise level at operator ear has been reduced to 76 dBa, providing a comfortable working environment.
Convenient pedals for travel control in both directions are standard equipment on both machines.
Auxiliary hydraulic lines for breakers and other attachments are controlled via the left pedal.
Second speed selection button is located on the blade lever for easy control when working with the blade.
Cylinder Over Boom Design
The 321 features the “Cylinder Over Boom design” concept. This has several advantages:
• Better protection for the boom cylinder. Since the cylinder is mounted on top of the boom, the cylinder cannot be damaged by touching it with the bucket.
• The stresses are transferred directly from one cylinder to another. Since there is less torsion in the boom structure, it can be made lighter. A lighter boom, in turn, means that the bucket can carry more weight when digging.
• The auxiliary lines located on top of the cylinder, giving good protection. In addition, the hoses at the base of the boom are routed for good protection.
Standard Auxiliary Hydraulics
Auxiliary hydraulics are standard equipment. A selector valve to switch from direct to tank to 2-way control is standard.
The auxiliary lines are mounted with closed quick connectors, so no dirt can get in.

Tailgate
The tailgate is made from hardened steel, 6 mm thick. This compares with the use of 4 mm steel for the 319.
In addition, compared with the 319, the tailgate is designed to provide a higher degree of rigidity, thanks in part to the lower plate of the tailgate.
Moreover, the counterweight is welded on the inside of the tailgate in order to ensure the extra weight is in the optimal position. The benefit for the customer is better stability and increased lifting capacity.
