The 425 is a Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) small excavator in the 2-3 T class.
This compact model has a limited operating weight making it easy to transport on a trailer or to be towed behind a small truck.
The 425 is designed for limited-access jobs. Thanks to Zero Tail Swing, the entire house of the excavator, with the exception of the boom, rotates within the width of the machine tracks. So there is no worry about damaging the house or the surrounding environment. The operator can concentrate fully on the job.

Limited weight / easy to transport
Thanks to its limited weight – only 2649 kg, (cabin version), the Bobcat 425 zero house swing excavator can easily be transported on a trailer from one jobsite to the next. The compact dimensions of the excavator facilitate transportability.

Thanks to zero tail swing, the entire house of the excavator, with the exception of the boom, rotates within the width of the excavator tracks. Hydraulic System
The 425 is equipped with a LOAD SENSING system, with very smooth, easy-to-control hydraulics, allowing all operations to be carried out simultaneously.
